"Westminster Abbey" It was ten minutes to seven and I saw camera flash going off in the abbey. Photography is not allowed inside except on certain Wednesdays. It happened to be the lucky day and in ten minutes, the abbey was to be closed for the night. I pleaded with a red-robed father to let me inside and promised that I would not take more than fifteen minutes. "ok, my child but hurry up!" This photograph and the next are the result of the next fifteen minutes inside this extraordinary place. |
