A mute watcher standing tall, watches the time slip by. The majesty of its crumbling ramparts reminds one of its colorful, glorious past. A place for which battles were fought, armies laying seige for a long time, where women immolated themselves in johar kunds to escape the victorious enemies. This was where Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb imprisoned his brother. The mute walls tell tales of its chequered past coloring it with depravity, valour and bloody battles.
